Vernee’s Apollo 2 smartphone will come sporting MediaTek X30 processor and 8GB RAM; scheduled to launch at MWC 2017
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vernee is preparing to launch its Apollo 2 smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. Ahead of the unveiling, the details and specifications of the upcoming smartphone have been revealed by the Chinese brand, leaving little to surprise.
The Chinese firm claims that the Apollo 2 is going to be the first Helio X2 smartphone in the world upon its launch. The phone appears with a MediaTek X30 deca-core processor paired with an 8GB RAM. It will come available in two different internal storage capacity options, while the RA configurations will be different as well. One will be available with a 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage, while the second one will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage capacity.
Interestingly, the upcoming Vernee Apollo 2 will be the second smartphone of the world to have an 8GB RAM, next to the Asus ZenFone AR, which was unveiled at CES 2017 few days ago. The Asus smartphone is ready to hit the market sometime during second quarter of this year, and upon the arrival of Apollo 2, the competition will surely get intensified between these two models.
The Apollo 2 will come with a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440. The device will be offering supreme quality viewing experience to the users. It will come with a fingerprint scanner at the chin of the phone below the screen.
The Apollo 2 smartphone will come with superior quality camera both at front and rear, but the specifications and details of the camera are yet to be disclosed. The phone gets a PowerVR 7XT GPU chipset, which is capable of supporting up to 40 megapixel sensors.
