Nokia is back to the smartphone business with bang. The Finnish tech company’s latest handset Nokia 6 has sold out in just one minute in China in a flash sale and what’s more interesting is that more than one million people has registered their interest in the device.
Flash sale for the Nokia 6 smartphone started at 10:06 am local time at Jiangdong Mall and by 10:07 am, all the available units were sold. However, the exact number of sales was not made public by the manufacturer of the handset, the HMD Global. Incidentally, the flash sale is a very well tried and tested marketing technique in China and several tech companies has received success through this.
With this success under its sleeve, the Nokia 6 is about to see another flash sale in coming days and we expect this time, he company will made as many as possible handsets available to cater the huge demand. Currently, the Nokia 6 is available in Chinese market only and the company has not confirmed when it will be reach to other global markets.
The Nokia 6 comes powered by a Snapdragon 430 chipset under the cover and it also gets a 4GB RAM. The smartphone comes with 5.5-inch full HD display and features an impressive 64 GB internal storage as well. For photography, the device features a 16 megapixel rear camera and a front unit as well. Power source for the dual SIM device is a 3,000 mAh battery.
Apart from these, the Nokia 6 also comes with a fingerprint scanner and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. In the Chinese market, the phone is priced at 1,699 Yuan. The company is preparing to launch some other smartphones during the MWC 2017 in next month.
