Oppo A57 already launched in China at a price tag of CNY 1,599; equivalent to INR. 15,800 approximately
Oppo has announced that it will launch the A57 selfie focused smartphone in Indian market on 3rd February this year. The smartphone has been already launched in the Chinese market in November last year. The pricing of the smartphone is not disclosed yet but in Chinese market this model is available at CNY 1,599 that is equivalent to approximately INR. 15,800.
The upcoming smartphone gets a 5.2-inch HD display that is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC. Also, there is a 3 GB RAM as well under the cover. The device comes with a 32 GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded by up to 128 GB. The power source for this device is a 2,900 mAh battery.
The most interesting feature of the Oppo A57 is the camera as this has been designed as a selfie focused smartphone. It features a 16 megapixel front camera that delivers amazing quality front images, while the rear shooter is a 13 megapixel unit. Interestingly, the phone follows the Oppo F1 when it comes to photography features.
The Oppo A57 runs on Color OS 3.0 that is based on the Android Marshmallow 6.0. Keeping its focus on the selfie-centric smartphones, the mobile manufacturer is targeting a large chunk of customers in the country who belong to new generation buyers. Earlier also, the tech firm launched the Oppo F1 model with similar 16 megapixel front shooter.
While launching the all-new Oppo A57, the company has also upgraded its existing F1 as well. This smartphone now comes with 4 GB of RAM improving the performance along with a 64 GB storage capacity that ensures more space. Apart from these two changes, the other specifications remain unchanged though.
