Xiaomi Mi Pad comes with 7.9-inch display, Windows 10, 8 GB RAM and metal body
Xiaomi is ready to launch its Mi Pad 3 on 30th December this year. The tablet is reported to be launching in Chinese market right ahead of the New Year. The company is claimed to be bringing major changes and upgrades to the Mi Pad 3 compared to its previous tablets. In Chinese market, it could be priced from CNY 1,999 which is roughly around INR. 20,000.
The device would come sporting a 7.9-inch display, an 8 GB RAM and a full metal body. The tablet will run on Windows 10 operating system. Apart from that, it would also get an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor positioned at the front of the device. It will be available in two different variants depending on storage capacity, which are 128 GB and 256 GB.
The Chinese company is expected to be launching a magnetic keyboard priced at CNY 99 (INR. 1,000) for the upcoming tablet. This device will reportedly arrive with a screen resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and it will be powered by a 2.6 GHz dual-core Intel M3-7Y30 processor combined with the 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM.
The Xiaomi MI Pad 2 was launched in both Android and Windows variants, but the new model is expected to come in Windows model only. The device will get power from an 8,290 mAh battery, which will receive fast charging technology. Speaking about the camera, it will feature a 16 megapixel rear camera, while the front camera will be an 8 megapixel unit. The tablet is supposed to be weighing around 380 grams.
The first ever Xiaomi Mi Pad tablet was launched in the Chinese market way back in 2014. The device was introduced to Indian market in 2015 at a price tag of INR. 12,999. In 2016 the company slashed its pricing. In 2015 the Chinese brand launched the second generation of the tablet.
